Analogue TV was switched off officially on 24 October 2012. Since this date, the only way to view terrestrial TV channels has been through a digital television server. This can be via a Freeview service. Most televisions nowadays have the Freeview receiver built in but if not, a separate receiver can be purchased in a large number of electrical retailers. The Freeview service can only be obtained through a TV aerial and it should be a wideband aerial of good quality in order to cope with the changing frequencies.
Freeview offers a number of channels including; BBC and ITV channels, Channels Four, Five, Sky News and many more. A number of these channels are also available in High Definition.
If you have moved into a property without an aerial, or if your existing aerial is giving you problems we are the people to call.
